Deepa Engade

A distinguished tennis player and coach with decades of experience in competitive tennis and player development. Deepa has spent her career winning at the highest levels — and then giving it all back to the next generation in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar (Aurangabad).

National Gold Medalist — 21st National Sports Festival for Women, Haryana (1996).
Pre-Quarter Finalist — ITF Women's Circuit (1992).
Quarter Finalist — National Championships, Chennai (2001).
Qualified for the main draw in all three legs of the USD 5,000 tournament, Mumbai (April 2002).
Represented India in international tennis competitions.
Player profile with the Women's Tennis Association (WTA).
Trained at the prestigious Ramesh Krishnan Tennis Academy.

DELTSA — the Deepa Engade Lawn Tennis Sports Association — is a registered lawn tennis coaching academy established in 2005. For more than 20 years it has been dedicated to developing young tennis talent and making quality coaching accessible to every aspiring player.

Kids (Beginners)

Fun-first fundamentals — grip, footwork, and coordination with soft balls. Building a love for the game from the ground up.

Tennis is an expensive sport — rackets, balls, court time. We refuse to let cost decide who gets to play. Every year, DELTSA awards three full scholarships to deserving students, and keeps all coaching fees genuinely affordable so talent from every background can shine.
